THE CENTRAL ILLINOIS REGIONAL FORENSICS FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE QUALITY SUPPORT TO PARTICIPATING AND REQUESTING LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES THROUGH COMPETENT, THOROUGH, AND PROFESSIONAL DIGITAL FORENSIC EXAMINATIONS. AS THE WORLD CONTINUES TO ADVANCE THE USE OF DIGITAL STORAGE, COMMUNICATIONS AND EQUIPMENT, THE NEED HAS INCREASED FOR A FORENSICS FACILITY TO MEET THE CHANGING LANDSCAPE OF LAW ENFORCEMENT. THE FOUNDATION IS IN DISCUSSIONS WITH REGIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT ENTITIES TO CREATE A FORENSICS LAB IN DECATUR, IL.
