LEGAL LINK IS A CALIFORNIA-BASED NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WORKING TO EXPAND THE LEGAL ECOSYSTEM BY TRAINING AND SUPPORTING A NEW FRONTLINE OF COMMUNITY LEGAL NAVIGATORS. THESE TRUSTED NAVIGATORS HELP TO REMOVE LEGAL BARRIERS FOR FAMILIES EXPERIENCING POVERTY. USING OUR LEGAL FIRST AID TRAINING CURRICULUM, THIS NETWORK OF NAVIGATORS HELPS TO SURFACE UNMET LEGAL NEEDS, IDENTIFY LEGAL ISSUES, AND ACCESS CRITICAL LEGAL PROTECTIONS. OUR NETWORK OF NAVIGATORS SERVE AS THE BRIDGE BETWEEN THE COMMUNITIES MOST IN NEED OF LEGAL SERVICES AND THE RESOURCES AVAILABLE TO THEM. IN 2021, WE TRAINED OVER 300 COMMUNITY PARTNERS IN LEGAL NAVIGATION, WITH OVER 90% OF NAVIGATORS REPORTING AN INCREASE IN LEGAL CAPABILITY.
