PROVIDE SERVICES FREE OF CHARGE TO TEEN AND YOUNG ADULT PARENTS (MOTHERS AND FATHERS) LIVING IN THE GRAND TRAVERSE REGION. SERVICES PROVIDED INCLUDE: MENTORING, HOME VISITS, MENTAL HEALTH THERAPY, WEEKLY PARENTING EDUCATION, SUPPORT GROUPS AND FAMILY ACTIVITIES, MATERNITY AND BABY SUPPLIES. THE GOALS OF GENERATIONS AHEAD INCLUDE EMPOWERING YOUNG PARENTS TO COMPLETE HIGH SCHOOL, PURSUE POST-SECONDARY JOB TRAINING OR EDUCATION, INCREASE THEIR FAMILY RESILIENCE, AND DEVELOP HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS WITH THEIR CHILDREN AND LARGER FAMILY.
