OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE LEADERSHIP, EDUCATION, ACTION, AND DEVELOPMENT TO SUPPORT THE HEALTH AND SUSTAINABILITY OF HONEY BEES, NATIVE POLLINATORS, AND THE KEEPERS OF THE ECOSYSTEM.

WE PLANNED TO PRESENT AN IN-PERSON CONFERENCE, BUT IT QUICKLY CHANGED TO A VIRTUAL CONFERENCE DUE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND RULES CONSTRAINING SOCIAL GATHERING.
INDIVIDUAL EDUCATION TO SMALL GROUPS, ON-SITE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR, THEN VIRTUALLY (ONLINE) FOR THE BALANCE OF 2020. EDUCATION THROUGH OUR SOCIAL MEDIA, NEWSLETTER, AND WEBSITE.
COLLABORATION WITH PARTNERS--HAVE A HIVE AND BEE HEROIC PROJECT. THEY BEGAN THE 2020 YEAR WITH ANOTHER FISCAL SPONSOR, WHO POSTPONED ACTIVITIES DURING THE PANDEMIC. HALF-WAY THROUGH THE YEAR THE PREVIOUS FISCAL SPONSOR ASKED LEAD FOR POLLINATORS TO ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE TWO PARTNERS. WE ALSO VOLUNTEERED WITH A COALITION OF AGRICULTURAL STAKEHOLDERS WORKING ON PESTICIDE AND MOSQUITO CONTROL EDUCATION IN MASSACHUSETTS.
