SOARING HEIGHTS RECOVERY HOMES WILL RENT, LEASE, OR BUY RESIDENTIAL HOUSING TO PROVIDE ROOMS FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH OR WITHOUT CHILDREN. IT IS AN 18-MONTH PROGRAM WITH STRUCTURE, PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS, AND EXPECTATIONS. EACH INDIVIDUAL WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO IDENTIFY BARRIERS TO SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND WORK TOWARDS ELIMINATIONG THESE BARRIERS. FOR EXAMPLE, BARRIERS CAN INCLUDE LACK OF EMPLOYMENT, COURT ORDERED DRUG REHABILITATION, PAYING OFF PAST DEBTS, OBTAINING A DRIVER'S LICENSE. SOARING HEIGHTS WILL REMOVE ONE OF THE LARGEST BARRIERS - SOBER HOUSING.WHILE RESIDING AT SOARING HEIGHTS EVERYONE WILL BE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN EMPLOYMENT, ENGAGE IN RECOVERY-BASED ACTIVITIES AND PARTICIPATE IN RANDOM DRUG TESTING.OUR TARGET POPULATION:1.SINGLE MEN AND WOMEN.2.MEN AND WOMEN WITH CHILDREN.3.INDIVIDUALS RECOVERING FROM SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE ISSUES.4.HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS.5.INDIVIDUALS PARTICIPATING IN MEDICATED ASSISTED TREATMENT.THERE ARE CURRENTLY TWO HOUSES TO SUPPORT THE MISSION. DURING 2022 24 WOMEN AND 25 CHILDREN BENEFITED FROM ORIOLE HOUSE AND 15 MEN BENEFITED FROM FALCON HOUSE.
