WITH 36 IN-PATIENT BEDS, MERCY SPECIALTY HOSPITAL IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS IS AN INNOVATIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR SURGERY, SPECIALTY CARE, PHYSICAL THERAPY, IMAGING AND WELLNESS PROGRAMS. NECK-TO-TOE CARE IS OFFERED FROM THE REGION'S LEADING ORTHOPEDIC AND SPORTS MEDICINE SPECIALISTS. THE COMMUNITY NEED IS REPRESENTED BY 657 DISCHARGES, 1,543 PATIENT DAYS, 4,157 SURGERIES AND 32,105 OUTPATIENT VISITS.
MERCY'S SPECIALTY HOSPITAL OFFERS PHYSICAL THERAPY SERVICES IN GALENA, KANSAS AT THE REGION'S LARGEST, MOST ADVANCED FACILITY. IT FEATURES A FULL REHABILITATION GYM, A CERTIFIED HAND THERAPY CLINIC, ATHLETIC TRAINING PROGRAMS AND TWO HYDROWORX AQUATIC THERAPY POOLS.
