THE CLOJURISTS TOGETHER FOUNDATION IS A TRADE ORGANIZATION, DEDICATED TO FUNDING AND SUPPORTING OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE, INFRASTRUCTURE, AND DOCUMENTATION THAT IS IMPORTANT TO THE CLOJURE AND CLOJURESCRIPT COMMUNITY.

GAVE OUT APPROXIMATELY $100,000 OVER DOZENS OF GRANTS OF VARIOUS SIZES (AND RAPIDLY GROWING), SUPPORTING SOME OF THE MOST POPULAR OPEN SOURCE PACKAGES IN THE CLOJURE ECOSYSTEM AND THEREFORE BENEFITING VIRTUALLY EVERY CLOJURE PROGRAMMER, AS WELL AS STRATEGICALLY SPONSORING NEWER WORK.
OPERATE, MAINTAIN AND IMPROVE CLOJARS, THE MOST IMPORTANT SOURCE OF OPEN SOURCE CLOJURE AND CLOJURESCRIPT PACKAGES. IN ADDITION TO ENSURING THIS CORE INFRASTRUCTURE REMAINS RELIABLE, WE'VE ADDED SIGNIFICANT PERFORMANCE AND SECURITY UPGRADES. THIS WORK WAS MADE POSSIBLE THANKS TO TOBY CRAWLEY'S EFFORTS.
BY INCREASING THE FLEXIBILITY OF FUNDING FORMATS, ALLOW US TO IMPROVE OUR COMMUNITY IN WAYS NOT POSSIBLE WITH EXISTING FORMATS. THIS INCLUDES FOR EXAMPLE ALLOWING PEOPLE TO FIX SMALL BUGS (VIA FOR EXAMPLE OUR SUMMER OF BUGS PROGRAM) BUT ALSO MUCH LARGER PROJECTS, INCLUDING ALLOWING A PROLIFIC CLOJURE DEVELOPER (MICHIEL BORKENT) TO DEDICATE THEMSELVES TO THEIR OPEN SOURCE WORK FULL-TIME.
