SEE SCHEDULE OBASECAMP305 SERVES QUALIFIED STUDENTS BY CREATING A WORLD-CLASS CURRICULUM HEAVILY FOCUSED ON SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, MATH, AND SOCIAL RESPONSILBILITY. PROBLEM SOLVING, CRITICAL THINKING, TEAMWORK, COMMUNICATION AND ETHICS ARE CORE ELEMENTS OF DAILY PROJECTS.BASECAMP305 EMPHASIZES SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, THE ARTS AND MATHEMATICS ("STEAM"). THE STEAM CURRICULUM IS FOCUSED ON DEVELOPING ORGANIZED AND ANALYTICAL THINKING, AS WELL AS PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS. BASECAMP305 EMPHASIZES A HANDS-ON APPROACH TO LEARNING THAT FOCUSES ON THE PROCESSES AND TECHNIQUES OF DISCOVERY. PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO CHILDREN RESIDING SOUTH OF 30TH STREET IN MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AS WELL AS TO CHILDREN OF FAMILIES THAT HAVE A PAST, CURRENT OR FUTURE ASSOCIATION TO AIRWATCH OR ONETRUST. BASECAMP305 BEGAN IN 2020 WITH A PRE-KINDERGARTEN CLASS, ADDING A KINDERGARTEN CLASS DURING FISCAL YEAR 2021 AND FIRST GRADE DURING FISCAL YEAR 2022. IN FUTURE YEARS, BASECAMP305 EXPECTS TO GRADUALLY EXPAND TO INCLUDE ADDITIONAL CLASSES UP THROUGH FIFTH GRADE.
