GOVERNMENT DELIVERY: EYELLIANCE ENABLES GOVERNMENTS TO EFFICIENTLY INTEGRATE EYEGLASSES INTO PUBLIC HEALTH AND EDUCATION SYSTEMS BY SYSTEMATIZING PROVEN MODELS OF DELIVERY. EYELLIANCE WORKED ALONGSIDE THE LIBERIAN MINISTRIES OF HEALTH AND EDUCATION TO SUPPORT THE ESTABLISHMENT OF COMMUNITY EYE HEALTH AND SCALE UP SCHOOL EYE HEALTH. EYELLIANCE LAUNCHED A PILOT PROGRAM WITH THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH TRAINING COMMUNITY HEALTH ASSISTANTS TO CONDUCT VISION SCREENINGS, DISPENSE READING GLASSES, AND REFER PATIENTS ONTO ADVANCED CARE AS NEEDED. THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH INCLUDED THIS PROGRAM IN THE NEW 2022-2030 NATIONAL POLICY WHILE EYELLIANCE SUPPORTED THE INTEGRATION OF READING GLASSES INTO THE GOVERNMENT-MANAGED SUPPLY CHAIN FOR HEALTH COMMODITIES.
