NEWPORT MESA INDIVIDUAL AND FAMILY THERAPY PROVIDED MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES TO OVER 70 PEOPLE A WEEK WITH MORE THAN HALF RECEIVING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE THROUGH A SIGNIFICANT REDUCTION IN FEES. WE WORKED WITH LOCAL LEADERS AND ORGANIZATIONS IN THE COMMUNITY TO EXTEND OUR OUTREACH AND SERVICES TO PROVIDE MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES. IN ADDITION, WE EMPLOYED FOUR THERAPISTS WHO WERE PRE-LICENSED WHILE WE PROVIDED THEM WITH WEEKLY SUPERVISION AND TRAINING.
