LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE CLASS PROJECT FISCAL SPONSORSHIP:THE ORGANIZATION ACTED AS FISCAL SPONSOR FOR THE CLASS PROJECT OF THE 2021 CLASS OF THE SAN RAFAEL LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE ("SRLI"). SRLI IS CIVIC AND ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM CONDUCTED BY THE SAN RAFAEL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, A CALIFORNIA NONPROFIT MUTUAL BENEFIT CORPORATION, EXEMPT FROM TAXATION UNDER INTERNAL REVENUE CODE SECTION 501(C)(6). THE SRLI PROGRAM IS CONDUCTED OVER A NINE MONTH PERIOD EACH YEAR. PRIOR TO GRADUATION, EACH SRLI CLASS DEVELOPS AND EXECUTES A CHARITABLE CLASS PROJECT. ON BEHALF OF THIS REPORTING ORGANIZATION, THE SRLI CLASS SOLICITED MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS TO SUPPORT THE CREATION OF A 2 MILE BIKE PATHWAY FROM LARKSPUR TO SAN RAFAEL. THE PATHWAY SUPPORTS ALTERNATIVE MODES OF TRANSPORTATION FOR A MORE ECO-FRIENDLY AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLE. THE GOAL OF THE PROJECT WAS TO PROMOTE BIKE SAFETY AND CONNECT THE COMMUNITY THROUGH SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORTATION.
