THE ORGANIZATION PURSUES EDUCATIONAL, LOBBYING, AND POLITICAL ACTIVITIES IN ORDER TO FURTHER LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL AND TRANSGENDER (LGBT) INTERESTS WITHIN UTAH. THE ORGANIZATION DRAFTS LEGISLATION AND COORDINATES LOBBYING EFFORTS TO PROTECT THE RIGHTS OF LGBT UTAHNS. DURING 2022, WE WELCOMED EDDIE IZZARD TO KEYNOTE THE 2022 ALLIES GALA. SHE ADDRESSED THE PRECARIOUS MOMENT WE FACE AS A GLOBAL COMMUNITY. THAT EVENING WE WERE ABLE TO HONOR LOCAL HEROES BRUCE BASTIAN, SUE ROBBINS & THE QUEER STUDENTS OF BYU. WE TEAMED UP WITH THE ACLU OF UTAH, THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR LESBIAN RIGHTS AND THE LAW FIRM OF WILSON SONSINI TO FILE A LAWSUIT ON BEHALF OF TRANSGENDER CHILDREN.
