THE TEXAS BALLET THEATER PROVIDED 43 HIGH QUALITY BALLET PERFORMANCES IN DALLAS AND FORT WORTH, TEXAS FOR 46,826 PATRONS DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2022. INCLUDED IN THE PRODUCTIONS WAS A COMPANY PREMIER "STAR CROSSED" BY BEN STEVENSON,O.B.E. THE COMPANY ALSO PRESENTED TWO WORLD PREMIERS "VIOLIN CONCERTO IN D" BY TIMOTHY O'KEEFE AND "A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM' BY BEN STEVENSON, O.B.E.. FAMILY FAVORITE "THE NUTCRACKER" BY BEN STEVENSON WAS ALSO PRESENTED. DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC 2 SHOWS WERE CANCELLED.
PROVIDED SUCCESSFUL TRAINING PROGRAMS, LOCATED IN FORT WORTH, TEXAS AND RICHARDSON, TEXAS FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS WITH PROFESSIONAL INSTRUCTION AND DANCE EDUCATION. APPROXIMATELY 606 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN OUR PROGRAMS DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2022.
CITY DANCE IS A PROGRAM CREATED TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF CHILDREN IN UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES ACROSS NORTH TEXAS AND TO DEVELOP ARTISTS, ART PATRONS AND LEADERS OF THE FUTURE BY PROVIDING FREE AFTER-SCHOOL BALLET LESSONS TO 692 K - 8TH GRADERS IN PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS IN CROWLEY, EVERMAN, DALLAS, FORT WORTH, AND RICHARDSON INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICTS. CITY DANCE SERVED STUDENTS IN 27 NORTH TEXAS SCHOOLS DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2022.
