EMPOWERING YOUTH TO SUCCEED IN LIFE THROUGH FINANCIAL EDUCATION AND CAREER READINESS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

PROVIDED FINANCIAL LITERACY WORKSHOPS TO 5TH AND 8TH GRADERS AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS BASED ON STATE AND NATIONAL STANDARDS. THE PROGRAM SERVES OVER 5,900 YOUTH EACH ACADEMIC YEAR THROUGH 24 DIFFERENT COUNTIES IN COLORADO.


PROVIDED HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WITH CAREER DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCES IN THE CULINARY ARTS, RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT, ARCHITECTURE, AND CONSTRUCTION. SERVES 35-45 STUDENT EACH ACADEMIC YEAR WITH APPROXIMATELY 216 CONTACT HOURS PER STUDENT.


PROVIDED MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS WITH CAREER DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCES THOUGH A NEW JOB INTERNSHIP PROGRAM. UTILIZES LOCAL INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS WHO VOLUNTEER TO EDUCATE AND INFORM COLORADO YOUTH ABOUT JOBS AND CAREERS IN THEIR COMMUNITIES
