IN 2021 PLANNED PETHOOD INTERNATIONAL VET CLINIC AND ADOPTIONS WERE ABLE TO GET OUT AGAIN INTO OUR COMMUNITY AFTER A SLOWER 2020. WE CONTINUED TO HELP FAMILIES IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS: -WE HAVE DONE MANY SMALL TOWN SPAY AND NEUTER CLINICS IN LOWER INCOME AREAS. -WE GAVE AWAY 7,000.00 OF DOG AND CAT FOOD TO FAMILIES IN NEED. -WE PROVIDED MULTIPLE COMPLICATED /ADVANCED SURGERIES AT AN EXTRA LOW COST SLIDING SCALE AMOUNT FOR FAMILIES. -WE ADOPTED 123 ANIMALS TO LOVING HOMES AFTER BEING LEFT BEHIND OR RELINQUISHED AT OUR CLINIC IN NEED OF SURGERIES OR ILLNESSES THAT PEOPLE COULD NOT AFFORD TO DO THEMSELVES. -WE GATHERED ITEMS FOR OUR LOCAL HOMELESS SHELTER SOX PLACE IN DENVER AS WELL AS PROVIDING MEDICAL CARE, VACCINATIONS AND SURGERIES FOR THEIR PETS AT NO COST TO THEM. -WE SET UP A VACCINE CLINIC AT THE PET PANTRY AS WELL AS DONATED FOOD FOR THE FAMILIES AND ONLY CHARGED THEM OUR COST TO GIVE THEM TO DOGS AND CATS. -WE ASSISTED WHEAT RIDGE ANIMAL CONTROL IN SETTING UP A VACCINE AND SPAY AND NEUTER CLINIC IN AN AREA WHERE THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO TRAVEL TO US. -WE HAVE TRAINED MULTIPLE VETERINARIANS AND VET TECHNICIANS THROUGH OUR ON SITE TRAINING FACILITY. -WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO HAVE SCHOOLS IN OUR AREA COME TO US FOR TOURS OF OUR FACILITY AND DO QUESTIONS AND ANSWER DAYS WITH OUR MEDICAL STAFF TO HELP THEM DECIDE ABOUT CAREER OPPORTUNITIES. -THIS YEAR WE WERE ABLE TO PROVIDE OVER 10,000 SURGERIES TO OUR CLIENTS.
