CITY IMPACT ACCELERATOR: USING THE TOOLS OF APPRECIATIVE INQUIRY AND RESULTS-BASED DISCUSSIONS, GOODCITIES IS PROVIDING LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT FOR LEADERS ENGAGING IN CROSS-SECTOR COLLABORATIONS TO MOVE THE NEEDLE ON CRITICAL SOCIAL ISSUES. THE CITY IMPACT ACCELERATOR ENGAGES TEAMS OF LEADERS FROM CITIES IN THREE ONE-AND-A-HALF DAY SESSIONS OVER TWELVE MONTHS AND OFFERS COMMUNITY COACHING TO HELP LEADERS ACHIEVE THEIR STRATEGIES. IN 2021 GOODCITIES PROVIDED THE CITY IMPACT ACCELERATOR FOR SIX LEADERSHIP TEAMS IN TWO COHORTS CONVENED BY THE SALVATION ARMY IN FLORIDA.


CITY COACH: GOODCITIES COMMUNITY COACHING IS A VITAL PART OF OUR LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT WORK. IN 2021, GLENN BARTH AND REGGIE MCNEAL PROVIDED LEADERSHIP COACHING WITH LEADERS OF THE SALVATION ARMY IN SIX FLORIDA CITIES AND COMMUNITIES (ORLANDO, LAKE WORTH, LEESBURG, TALLAHASSEE, MELBOURNE AND WINTER HAVEN) AND ALSO IN MONTEREY, CA. THESE LEADERS ARE ON THE FRONT LINES OF SOLVING STUBBORN ISSUES RELATED TO POVERTY SUCH AS HOMELESSNESS, LITERACY, AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT.
