TRAILS PLANNING; TRAILS SCOUTING; TRAILS MAINTENANCE; TRAILS CONSTRUCTION AND IMPLEMENTATION. TELLURIDE MOUNTAIN CLUB WORKS INDEPENDENTLY, WITH THE USFS, WITH TOWN AND COUNTY GOVERNMENTS, WITH OTHER NONPROFITS, AND WITH FOR-PROFIT BUSINESSES TO PRESERVE AND ENHANCE OUTDOOR RECREATION OPPORTUNITIES IN THE TELLURIDE REGION. THE CLUB ALSO HELPS EDUCATE USERS ON PROPER TRAIL ETIQUETTE.
TELLURIDE VIA FERRATA STEWARDSHIP. HELP COORDINATE THE VIA FERRATA SUSTAINABILITY FUND TO HELP PRESERVE AND PROTECT TELLURIDES UNIQUE VIA FERRATA ROUTE AND KEEP IT FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. WORK WITH THE USFS ON NECESSARY PROGRAMMING FOR THEM TO ADOPT THE ROUTE INTO THE USFS INVENTORY.
