FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING, PRESERVING AND PROTECTING ECOLOGICALLY AND BIOLOGICALLY SIGNIFICANT UNDEVELOPED LAND IN TETON COUNTY, WY. FOR THE YEAR COVERED BY THIS TAX RETURN, THE FOUNDATION SOLD ITS REMAINING LAND HOLDINGS AND DONATED THE NET REMAINING PROCEEDS, AFTER SETTLING VARIOUS OBLIGATIONS, TO THE AMERICAN GIFT FUND; THE FUNDS ARE TO BE USED TO ADVANCE FUTURE PHILANTHROPIC ENDEAVORS THAT ALIGN WITH THE FOUNDATION'S EXEMPT CHARITABLE GOALS AND PURPOSE. SOON AFTER DISPOSING OF ITS LAND INTERESTS, THE FOUNDATION FILED ARTICLES OF TERMINATION AND FORMALLY WOUND DOWN ALL OPERATIONS.
