ACCREDITATION - THE ORGANIZATION ADMINISTERS THE ACCREDITATION PROCESS FOR CELLULAR THERAPY PROGRAMS AND CORD BLOOD BANKS AT RESEARCH AND MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS THAT DESIRE TO OBTAIN THE ACCREDITATION DESIGNATION FOR THEIR PROGRAMS.


TRAINING & EDUCATION - THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FEE-BASED TRAINING AND EDUCATION FOR ACCREDITED PROGRAMS TO ASSIST THEM IN KEEPING UP-TO-DATE WITH NEW AND REVISED STANDARDS FOR THEIR PROGRAMS. THIS MAY INCLUDE SEMINARS AND DISTANCE LEARNING FOR ACCREDITED PROGRAMS. TO AID PROGRAMS IN EMERGING ECONOMIES, EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS ARE PROVIDED AT NO EXPENSE. TRAINING AND EDUCATION IS ALSO PROVIDED TO FACT'S INSPECTORS AT NO COST TO THE VOLUNTEERS.


STANDARDS DEVELOPMENT - THE ORGANIZATION RESEARCHES AND DEVELOPS THE APPROPRIATE STANDARDS FOR DESIGNATED PROGRAMS TO ENSURE THAT ALL ACCREDITED CELLULAR THERAPY PROGRAMS AND CORD BLOOD BANKS ARE ADHERING TO RIGOROUS STANDARDS. THE ORGANIZATION IS VESTED IN ASSISTING PROGRAMS WITH PROVIDING THE HIGHEST STANDARD OF CARE IN THE FIELD OF CELLULAR THERAPY, WHICH IS INCORPORATED INTO THE DEVELOPED STANDARDS.
