THE SCHOOL HAS DEVELOPED A PROGRAM TO RETAIN AND PROVIDE ACADEMIC SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS IN RESPONSE TO COVID INTERRUPTIONS INCLUDING A NEW TEACHER SALARY AND TEACHING MATERIALS. THE GUIDED FAMILY LED INSTRUCTION (GFLI) PROGRAM SUPPORTED STUDENTS UNWILLING OR UNABLE TO RETURN TO THE PHYSICAL SCHOOL SPACE DUE TO RISKS, MASKS, OR OTHER COVID RESTRICTIONS OR CONCERNS WHILE SUPPORTING THOSE STUDENTS REMEDIATION AND ACADEMIC GROWTH. UTILIZED FEDERAL CORONAVIRUS RELIEF FUNDS TO PREPARE THE SCHOOL BUILDING AND CLASSROOMS FOR THE SAFE RETURN OF STUDENTS. THESE PREPARATIONS INCLUDED PURCHASING INDIVIDUAL DESKS AND CHAIRS TO SUPPORT PHYSICAL DISTANCING, CLEANING SUPPLIES, AIR FILTERS, ADDITIONAL COMPUTERS, AND ANOTHER CUSTODIAL STAFF PERSON WITH PROTOCOLS TO SANITIZE THE FACILITY.
