THE FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO CREATE PARTNERSHIPS AND PROGRAMS TO IMPROVE STUDENTS' ACHIEVEMENT, ENCOURAGE LIFE-LONG LEARNING, AND BUILD OPPORTUNITIES FOR A BRIGHT FUTURE FOR THE STUDENTS OF WESTMINSTER PUBLIC SCHOOLS. AS A SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION FOR A SCHOOL DISTRICT THAT SERVES SOME OF THE STATE'S MOST FINANCIALLY DISADVANTAGED STUDENTS, WPSF LEADS INITIATIVES THAT ARE DESIGNED TO HELP THEM OVERCOME BARRIERS SO THEY HAVE EQUITABLE ACCESS TO RESOURCES THAT SUPPORT IMPROVED STUDENT OUTCOMES. THE MAIN PROGRAMS THAT WPSF SUPPORTS ARE SCHOLARSHIPS AND POST-SECONDARY INITIATIVES, FINANCIAL SUPPORT SO STUDENTS HAVE ACCESS TO TOOLS THEY NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE CLASSROOM, AND DISTRICT INITIATIVES.
