FAITH BASED FIRST RESPONDERS (FBFR): IN 2007 FOLLOWING THE KATRINA DISASTER, AND AT THE REQUEST OF THE WHITE HOUSE, CIA HAS DEVELOPED A FAITH BASED FIRST RESPONDERS COALITION TO STREAMLINE A NATIONWIDE RAPID RESPONSE NETWORK IN THE EVENT OF FUTURE DISASTERS. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES TRAINING THROUGH THE INTERNATIONAL CRITICAL INCIDENT STRESS FOUNDATION (ICISF)OFFERING THE BEGINNING COURSE ASSISTING INDIVIDUALS IN CRISIS (AIC), AND THE ADVANCED TRAINING FOR PASTORAL CRISIS INTERVENTION (PCI). IT HAS ALSO DEVELOPED AND ADVANCED COURSE FOR THOSE INDIVIDUALS WISHING TO PURSUE CRISIS COUNSELING FURTHER, THE CHAPLAIN BASIC TRAINING (CBT).
