THE PURPOSE OF COMMUNITY MINISTRY IS TO MEET THE BASIC NEEDS OF INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EXPERIENCING ECONOMIC HARDSHIPS AND RELATED PROBLEMS. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH PROVIDING A FOOD PANTRY, CHILDREN'S CLOTHING, UTILITY ASSISTANCE AND COLLABORATING WITH OTHER NON-PROFITS TO PROVIDE WRAP AROUND SERVICES.

IN 2021, WE SAW OUR NUMBERS MAINTAIN AT THE SAME HIGH LEVEL AS SEEN IN 2020 AT THE FOOD PANTRY AND A SLIGHT INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF CHILDREN USING THE CLOTHING BANK. WE PROVIDED 773,061 POUNDS OF FOOD ASSISTANCE TO 36,183 INDIVIDUALS. 400 CHILDREN RECEIVED SCHOOL SUPPLIES, 600 FAMILIES WERE GIVEN THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS BOXES. 363 CHILDREN RECEIVED CHRISTMAS GIFTS. COLLABORATION WITH OTHER NON-PROFITS COMING ON-SITE TO PROVIDE SERVICES HELPED US IMPACT THE LIVES OF 46,250 INDIVIDUALS.
ENERGY ASSISTANCE: IN CONJUNCTION WITH ENERGY OUTREACH COLORADO, COMMUNITY MINISTRY ADMINISTERS ENERGY BILL ASSISTANCE FOR CLIENTS WHO HAVE OVERDUE ENERGY BILLS. DURING 2021 THE ORGANIZATION ASSISTED 54 HOUSEHOLDS WITH THEIR ENERGY BILLS WITH AN AVERAGE BILL OF 555.
