Part 3
THIS RETURN COVERS THE SPRING SCHOOL SEMESTER OF 2022, WHEREIN TEAMS THAT FORMED IN THE FALL SEMESTER OF 2021 HAVE COMPETED AND REACHED THE TOURNAMENT LEVEL OF ACTIVITIES. TOURNAMENTS INCLUDE TEAMS FROM CITY AND COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEMS, AS WELL AS PRIVATE SCHOOLS AND HOMESCHOOL COOPERATIVES. WHILE KENTUCKY HAS YET TO ACHIEVE A NATIONAL RANKING IN STEM COMPETITIONS, WE ARE HOPEFUL (NOW THAT ALL NORMAL ACTIVITIES HAVE RESUMED AFTER COVID) THAT KY WILL GROW MORE STEM CLUBS, PARTICIPATE IN MORE COMPETITIONS AT HIGHER LEVELS, AND WILL MAKE GREAT PROGRESS IN FURTHERING OUR STATE'S STEM EDUCATION GOALS AND ACTIVITIES. KY FIRST ROBOTICS PARTICIPATES BOTH BY HELPING LOCAL TEAMS TO ORGANIZE, PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS AS NEEDED FOR TEAMS TO TRAVEL TO COMPETITIONS OR ACQUIRE ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS FOR BUILDING ROBOTS, AND BY HELPING TO ORGANIZE REGIONAL AND STATE COMPETITIONS.
