SAMARITAN CENTER AT JERSEY SHOREDONATION SPONSOR FOR GOLF OUTING / DINNER SUPPORTING MENTAL HEALTH - THE MISSION OF THE SAMARITAN CENTER AT THE JERSEY SHORE IS TO FOSTER HOPE AND WELL-BEING FOR THE MIND, BODY, SPIRIT AND COMMUNITY THROUGH PROFESSIONAL FAITH-BASED COUNSELING, CONSULTING AND EDUCATION. WE ARE A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION ESTABLISHED TO PROVIDE INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES, CHURCHES, SCHOOLS, BUSINESSES AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS WITH RESOURCES FOR ENHANCING HEALTHY AND VITAL LIVING. WE SEEK TO ADVANCE PSYCHOLOGICAL, SPIRITUAL, PHYSICAL, RELATIONAL AND INSTITUTIONAL WHOLENESS WITH QUALITY PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FROM A CHRISTIAN PERSPECTIVE THAT HONORS PEOPLE FROM ALL BACKGROUNDS AND BELIEFS.

HOPE SQUADHOPE SQUAD IS A PEER-TO-PEER SUICIDE PREVENTION PROGRAM. HOPE SQUAD MEMBERS ARE NOMINATED BY THEIR CLASSMATES AS TRUSTWORTHY PEERS AND TRAINED BY ADVISORS. THE PROGRAM REDUCES YOUTH SUICIDE THROUGH EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PEER INTERVENTION. ST. ROSE HS WEBSITE "CULLEYSTRONG FUNDED HOPE SQUAD TRAINING AT ST. ROSE FOR THE NEXT 4 YEARS. THE HOPE SQUAD IS A SCHOOL-BASED PEER-TO-PEER SUICIDE PREVENTION PROGRAM BUILT BY EDUCATORS AND MENTAL HEALTH EXPERTS TO CHANGE HOW SCHOOLS APPROACH MENTAL HEALTH AND SUICIDE PREVENTION. STUDENTS CAN BE TRAINED AS A HOPE SQUAD MEMBER TO BE AWARE OF THEIR PEERS, WATCH FOR WARNING SIGNS, AND TAKE ACTION WHEN SOMEONE IS STRUGGLING."
