Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3

IN 2021, THE JOSEPHINE LILLY WOLF MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION (JLWMSF) CONTINUED ITS WORK OF PROVIDING COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS TO FORMER HIGH- ACHIEVING STUDENTS OF MANNING'S (HIGH) SCHOOL, LOCATED IN WESTMORELAND, JAMAICA. WE CONTINUED TO WORK WITH OUR STUDENTS TO HELP THEM NAVIGATE THE PERSONAL AND EDUCATIONAL CHALLENGES POSED BY COVID-19. THIS INCLUDED PAYING FOR INTERNET SO THAT THEY COULD CONTINUE THEIR COURSEWORK THROUGH ON-LINE CLASSES. IN 2021 WE ADDED THREE NEW STUDENTS, BRINGING OUR TOTAL NUMBER OF SUPPORTED STUDENTS TO ELEVEN. OUR NEW CLASS OF STUDENTS ARE STUDYING MEDICINE, HUMAN RESOURCES, AND SOCIAL SCIENCES/COUNSELING. LIKE ALL OUR STUDENTS, THE 2021 CLASS WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ATTEND COLLEGE WITHOUT OUR SUPPORT. IN 2021 WE HELD OUR SECOND ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT FUNDRAISER. WE HAD 30 REGISTERED TEAMS AND MANY MORE PEOPLE JOIN US FOR DINNER. WE ALSO ADDED SEVERAL NEW GAMES AND CONTESTS FOR NON-GOLFERS. THE FUNDRAISER WAS A HUGE SUCCESS AND WE RAISED OVER 30,000, WHICH WAS USED TO SUPPORT OUR NEW AND EXISTING STUDENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. 2021 MARKED A HUGE MILESTONE FOR JLWMSF AS WE GRADUATED OUR FIRST STUDENT, SAVEENIA KELLY. SAVEENIA GRADUATED FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF WEST INDIES WITH A BUSINESS DEGREE AND CURRENTLY WORKS FOR SAGICOR BANK IN KINGSTON, JAMAICA. SAVEENIA WAS ABLE TO ATTEND OUR 2021 FUNDRAISER AND SPOKE TO OUR GUESTS ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF THE FOUNDATION AND THE IMPACT GOING TO COLLEGE HAS HAD ON HER LIFE. HEARING FIRST-HAND FROM A SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR FUNDRAISER. LASTLY, THERE WERE NO CHANGES TO FOUNDATION GOVERNANCE OR OUR BOARD, HOWEVER, WE DID ADD A FEW PEOPLE TO VARIOUS COMMITTEES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. AS WE GROW, WE WILL CONTINUE TO ADD VOLUNTEERS TO SUPPORT THE IMPORTANT WORK WE ARE DOING.
