ADVOCATING CHILDREN TO SUCCEED (ACTS) IS A TRANSITIONAL PROGRAM FOR YOUTH THAT INTEGRATES THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM WITH AN AMBITIOUS PLAN FOR THEIR SUCCESS. ACTS DEVELOPED OUT OF A VISION FOR PROVIDING INDIVIDUALIZED, CARING ASSISTANCE TO YOUNG MALES, MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND HIGH SCHOOL, WHO ARE PENALIZED FOR VARIOUS INFRACTIONS BY BEING OUT OF SCHOOL . WE CREATE INDIVIDUALIZED EDUCATIONAL PLANS, WITH ADDITIONAL SUPPORT OF MENTORS, ACADEMIC TUTORS, AND OTHERS WHO REALIZE THE POSITIVE CHANGE THAT MAY COME FROM ENGAGING THESE YOUNG MEN IN WORTHWHILE ENDEAVORS. FOR OVER 10 YEARS, ACTS HAS SUCCESSFULLY TRANSITION 92% OF ITS STUDENTS BACK INTO A REGULAR SCHOOL SETTING. OVER 82% OF ITS HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, HAVE GRADUATED WITH A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED WITH POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION OR EMPLOYMENT.
