DAY EAGLE HOPE PROJECT WAS AWARDED A STATE OF MONTANA DEPARMENT OF AG GRANT AND WE WERE ABLE TO PURCHASE LOCAL FOOD SUCH AS TRADITIONAL BERRIES, MEAT, BISON, FRESH VEGETABLES.ETC. WE EXPANDED OUR COMMUNITY OUTREACH TO THE COLLEGE AND THE SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER TO ASSIST IN PROVIDING FRESH PRODUCE AND MEAT TO THE SENIORS. WE CONTINUE TO ASSIST INDIVIDUALS THAT ARE EXPERIENCING RECENT CANCER DIAGNOSIS WITH SUPPORT OF GIFT CARDS FOR FOOD, GAS, HOTELS ETC. WE ESTABLISHED A NEW FOOD PANTRY AT THE HAYS COMMUNITY CENTER TO MEET THE NEEDS OF OUR COMMUNITY ON THE SOUTHERN END OF OUR RESERVATION. WE CONTINUE TO HARVEST BUFFALO FROM OUR TRIBES HERD AND PROVIDE ALL OF THE MEAT TO THE COMMUNITY. WE CONTINUE TO ALSO PROVIDE EQUINE THERAPY AND WILL EXPAND OUR SERVICES IN THE NEW YEAR AS WE HAVE A TEAM MEMBER ADDED.
