1. SALT CONDUCTED ITS ANNUAL SUMMER SOCCER CAMP FOR CHILDREN IN THE ALTON, IL COMMUNITY. THE FREE SOCCER/WELLNESS PROGRAM WAS ATTENDED BY MORE THAN 40 CHILDREN AT 2 DIFFERENT SITES IN THE CITY. 2. SALT WAS ONE OF ONLY A SELECT FEW ORGANIZATIONS/CITIES IN THE COUNTRY TO PARTICIPATE IN A NATIONAL PILOT PROGRAM OF THE US SOCCER FOUNDATION'S "SOCCER FOR SUCCESS IN-SCHOOL PILOT PROGRAM". THE PROGRAM INTRODUCED FUNDAMENTAL SOCCER/NUTRITION EDUCATION PRINCIPLES TO CHILDREN AGES 6-12 AS PART OF A SCHOOL DISTRICT'S PE/HEALTH EDUCATION CURRICULUM. THE SALTPILOT PROGRAM WAS CONDUCTED AT 2 ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS IN THE ALTON SCHOOL DISTRICT IN THE SPRING, 2022 SEMESTER (EAST, WEST ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS), WITH PLANS TO CONTINUE/EXPAND THE PROGRAM IN 2022. 3.SALT BEGAN PLANNING/FUNDRAISING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SOCCER/FUTSAL "MINI-PITCH" IN THE ALTON, IL COMMUNITY THROUGH THE US SOCCER FOUNDATION'S NATIONAL COURT-BUILDING INITIATIVE, "SAFE PLACES TO PLAY", WITH A DESIRED COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT FOR 2022. 4.SALT ESTABLISHED KEY COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIPS WITH VITAL REGIONAL ORGANIZATION PARTNERS,INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING: NEW DIMENSION SOCCER, A STL-BASED SOCCER-BASED YOUTH DEVELOPMENT NONPROFIT WITH OVER 18 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE SERVING THE STL REGION, STL CITY SC MLS SOCCER FRANCHISE, AND ITS "CITY FUTURES" YOUTH SOCCER/DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.
