PROGRESS ARIZONA INSTITUTE IS A 501(C)(3) NON-PROFIT THAT PROVIDES TRAINING, COACHING AND SUPPORT TO NONPARTISAN ARIZONA ORGANIZATIONS ROOTED IN COMMUNITIES OF COLOR. WE TRAIN AND EQUIP OUR PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS TO USE SOCIAL MEDIA, PRESS OUTREACH AND OTHER COMMUNICATIONS AND DIGITAL TACTICS TO REACH COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND ENCOURAGE THEM TO REGISTER TO VOTE, VOTE, AND BE PART OF THE CIVIC PROCESS.

IN 2021, WE PROVIDED TRAINING, COACHING AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO 501C3 COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS ROOTED IN COMMUNITIES OF COLOR IN ARIZONA. OUR TRAINING AND COACHING SERVICES FOCUSED ON THE USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA, ART AND THE PRESS FOR NONPARTISAN CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AND COMMUNITY EDUCATION. IN 2021, OUR WORK WAS LARGELY FOCUSED ON SUPPORTING PARTNERS' EFFORTS TO EDUCATE COMMUNITY MEMBERS ABOUT THEIR RIGHT TO VOTE AND THE 2021 REDISTRICTING PROCESS THROUGH TACTICS RANGING FROM SOCIAL MEDIA TOWN HALLS TO CHALK ART INSTALLATIONS TO OP-EDS. WE ALSO PROVIDED SUPPORT FOR OUR PARTNERS ONGOING NONPARTISAN LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAMS.
