WE USE ACTIVE BYSTANDER INTERVENTION, DE-ESCALATION, AND ALLYSHIP STRATEGIES TO EMPOWER STAFF OF BARS, RESTAURANTS, HOTELS, BREWERIES, DISTILLERIES, CLUBS, EVENT VENUES, SUPPLIERS, DISTRIBUTORS, AND BRANDS TO STOP SEXUAL AGGRESSION AND OTHER FORMS OF GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE IN THEIR WORK ENVIRONMENTS.

USING THE FUNDS RAISED BY SAFE BARS INC., WE WERE ABLE TO PROVIDE ESTABLISHMENTTRAININGS, COMMUNITY-BASED "TRAIN THE TRAINER" TRAININGS, AND PARTICIPATE IN CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS. WE ESTIMATE THAT WE BENEFITED OVER 1,200 PEOPLE INFURTHERING OUR MISSION OF CHANGING NIGHTLIFE CULTURE BY TEACHING BYSTANDERINTERVENTION SKILLS TO HOSPITALITY STAFF TO STOP SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND AGGRESSIONAND CREATE SAFER AND MORE INCLUSIVE ALCOHOL-SERVING SPACES.
