(THE "ORGANIZATION") IS TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE TO THE VERY POOR AND DISTRESSED MEMBERS OF SOCIETY IN THE FORM OF CONTRIBUTIONS OR GRANTS TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS (DEFINED BELOW) FOR THE PURPOSE OF HELPING PEOPLE BETTER THEMSELVES, THEIR FAMILIES, AND THEIR COMMUNITY. THE ORGANIZATION AIMS TO COMBAT THE COMMUNITY EFFECTS OF WIDESPREAD DRUG ABUSE TO HELP HEAL THOSE SUFFERING IN LOGAN COUNTY AND ITS SURROUNDING AREAS BY MAKING FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS IN THOSE COMMUNITIES THAT AIM TO TREAT AND REHABILITATE THOSE SUFFERING FROM DRUG ADDICTION. IN ADDITION, THE RURAL COMMUNITIES OF SOUTHERN KENTUCKY ALSO SUFFER FROM SIGNIFICANT INCOME AND WEALTH DISPARITY. IN LOGAN COUNTY AND SURROUNDING RURAL AREAS, MANY INDIVIDUALS FACE SUBSTANTIAL FINANCIAL OBSTACLES TO PROVIDE FOR THEIR FAMILIES AND TO MEET THEIR BASIC DAY-TO-DAY NEEDS. THESE INDIVIDUALS, INCLUDING SEASONAL FARMING WORKERS AND OTHER LOW-WAGE EARNERS, OFTEN HAVE FEW JOB OPPORTUNITIES WITH UPWARD ECONOMIC MOBILITY. THE ORGANIZATION SEEKS TO ASSIST THE POOR AND FINANCIALLY DISTRESSED BY SUPPORTING CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS THAT HELP INDIVIDUALS LEARN SKILLS, FIND EMPLOYMENT, AND SECURE CAREER OPPORTUNITIES. THE ORGANIZATION WILL ALSO SUPPORT CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS THAT SEEK TO STRENGTHEN THE ECONOMIC HEALTH OF THE COMMUNITY THROUGH DEVELOPMENT AND ECONOMIC OUTREACH. THROUGH EDUCATION, SKILLS TRAINING, AND CAREER GUIDANCE, THE ORGANIZATION WILL EMPOWER INDIVIDUALS AND STRENGTHEN FAMILIES. THESE SERVICES LESSEN THE BURDENS OF GOVERNMENT, PROMOTE SOCIAL WELFARE BY LESSENING NEIGHBORHOOD TENSIONS, AND HELP BRIDGE THE WEALTH DISPARITY GAP. THE ORGANIZATION WAS INCORPORATED ON 12/27/2018.
