IN SO DOING, CORPORATION WILL: A. PROVIDE ASSISTANCE, ENCOURAGEMENT AND OPPORTUNITY TO B/VI ATHLETES/INDIVIDUALS THAT PURSUE PERFORMANCE AND/OR COMPETITION GOALS; B. THE MAJOR PROGRAM WAS A MOUNTAIN CLIMBING EXPEDITION TO NEPAL; IN AN EFFORT TO CLIMB THE HIGHEST MOUNTAIN IN THE WORLD (MOUNT EVEREST) AND THE FOURTH HIGHEST MOUNTAIN IN THE WORLD (MOUNT LOHTSE). THE EXPEDITION SPENT NEARLY AN ENTIRE MONTH IN NEPAL ATTEMPTING TO BE THE FIRST BLIND WOMAN IN HISTORY TO SUMMIT MOUNT EVEREST. THIS PARTICULAR PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHED SEVERAL OF THE ORGANIZATIONS OBJECTIVES BY: A. PROVIDING ASSISTANCE, ENCOURAGEMENT AND OPPORTUNITY TO A BLIND/VISUALLY IMPAIRED ATHLETE/INDIVIDUAL TO PURSUE PERFORMANCE AND/OR COMPETITION GOALS; B. PROVIDING OPPORTUNITY AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO THREE OTHER BLIND/VISUALLY IMPAIRED INDIVIDUALS TO LIVE ACTIVE LIVES IN PURSUING THEIR DREAMS/PASSIONS; C. FACILITATED A POSITIVE SELF-IMAGE THROUGH AN ACTIVE LIFESTYLE WITH SPORTS AND/OR RECREATION IN INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE BLIND/VISUALLY IMPAIRED; D. INCREASED PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE ABILITIES OF INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE BLIND/VISUALLY IMPAIRED; AND E. EDUCATED AND INSPIRE SIGHTED INDIVIDUALS THROUGH THEIR PARTICIPATION WITH THE CORPORATION. COUNTLESS NUMBERS OF SIGHTED INDIVIDUALS AND ATHLETES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
SEVERAL ATHLETES WHO ARE BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED AND THEIR GUIDES WERE ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN 3 OTHER PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR; TWO "IRONMAN" COMPETITIONS (CALIFORNIA AND IOWA) AND TANDEM-CYCLING. THESE PARTICULAR PROGRAMS ACCOMPLISHED SEVERAL OF THE ORGANIZATIONS OBJECTIVES BY: A. PROVIDING ASSISTANCE, ENCOURAGEMENT AND OPPORTUNITY TO BLIND/VISUALLY IMPAIRED ATHLETES/INDIVIDUALS THAT PURSUE PERFORMANCE AND/OR COMPETITION GOALS; B. PROVIDING OPPORTUNITY AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO BLIND/VISUALLY IMPAIRED MILITARY INDIVIDUALS TO LIVE ACTIVE LIVES IN PURSUING THEIR DREAMS/PASSIONS; C. FACILITATING A POSITIVE SELF-IMAGE THROUGH AN ACTIVE LIFESTYLE WITH SPORTS AND/OR RECREATION IN INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE BLIND/VISUALLY IMPAIRED; D. THE THIRD HIGHLIGHT PROGRAM WAS THE ORGANIZATION'S INVOLVEMENT IN ASSISTING WITH THE FUNDING AND EXECUTION OF A CYCLING PROGRAM (CAMP) FOR ATHLETES WHO ARE VISUALLY IMPAIRED. NOT UNLIKE THE OTHER TWO MAJOR PROGRAMS, THIS PROGRAM ALSO ACCOMPLISHED SEVERAL OF THE SAME ORGANIZATIONAL OBJECTIVES BY: A. PROVIDING ASSISTANCE, ENCOURAGEMENT AND OPPORTUNITY TO BLIND/VISUALLY IMPAIRED ATHLETES/INDIVIDUALS THAT PURSUE PERFORMANCE AND/OR COMPETITION GOALS; B. PROVIDING OPPORTUNITY AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO BLIND/VISUALLY IMPAIRED MILITARY INDIVIDUALS TO LIVE ACTIVE LIVES IN PURSUING THEIR DREAMS/PASSIONS; C.
