THE CORPORATION IS ESTABLISHED WITHIN THE MEANING OF THE IRS PUBLICATION 557 SECTION 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986, AS AMENDED (THE "CODE") OR THE CORRESPONDING SECTION OF ANY FUTURE TAX CODE AND SHALL BE OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE SUPPORT AND ENHANCEMENT OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE STUDENTS, TEACHERS & PARENTS OF THE GULF SHORES CITY SCHOOLS AS WELL AS THE CITY OF GULF SHORES, ALABAMA. IN ADDITION, THIS CORPORATION HAS BEEN FORMED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PERFORMING ALL THINGS INCIDENTAL TO, OR APPROPRIATE IN, THE FOREGOING SPECIFIC AND PRIMARY PURPOSES. ADOPT A TEACHER - THE GOAL IS TO GET ALL TEACHERS IN THE GULF SHORES CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD CERTIFIED. DURING THE YEAR, 36 TEACHERS HAVE STARTED WORKING ON BEING BOARD CERTIFIED. THE PROGRAM IS A TWO YEAR COMMITMENT.
THE OGANIZATION SPONSORS OUT OF THE CLASSROOM LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES. TWO PROGRAMS SPONSORED DURING 2019-2020 WERE TEH ECO TOURISM PROGRAM AND THE SPANISH EMERSION PROGRAM. THE PROGRAMS WERE WEEKLONG CAMP PUT ON DURING THE SUMMER OF 2020.
