TO CREATE DISCUSSIONS AND COORDIATION BETWEEN FAITH COMMUNITIES. WE FACILITATE ACTION THROUGH THREE AVENUES: BY LAUNCHING MULTI-FAITH INITIATIVES AND LETTERS, MEETING REGULARLY WITH NGOS AND GOVERNMENT REPRESENTATIVES, AND THROUGH SPECIFIC ISSUE-FOCUSED WORKING GROUPS.

IRF SUMMITS: THE IRF SUMMITS BRING TOGETHER A BROAD COALITION THAT PASSIONATELY SUPPORTS RELIGIOUS FREEDOM IN THEIR RESPECTIVE REGIONS AND AROUND THE GLOBE. WE RAISE THE PROFILE OF INTERNATIONAL RELIGIOUS FREEDOM ON A WIDE VARIETY OF ISSUES USING AN ARRAY OF MECHANISMS BEST SUITED FOR EACH CIRCUMSTANCE. THE SUMMIT CONNECTS RESOURCES AND ADVOCATES INTERESTED IN RELIGIOUS FREEDOM AND HIGHLIGHTS THE PERSONAL TESTIMONIES OF SURVIVORS OF RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION AND RESTRICTIONS ON RELIGIOUS FREEDOM.


TO STRENGTHEN INTERNATIONAL EFFORTS TO ENSURE FREEDOM OF RELIGION OR BELIEF THE UK GOVERNMENT HOSTED AN INTERNATIONAL MINISTERIAL CONFERENCE IN CENTRAL LONDON BROUGHT TOGETHER INTERNATIONAL GOVERNMENTS, PARLIAMENTARIANS, FAITH AND BELIEF REPRESENTATIVES, AND CIVIL SOCIETY. IT URGED INCREASED GLOBAL ACTION ON FREEDOM OF RELIGION OR BELIEF FOR ALL, UNDER THE THEMES OF PREVENTING VIOLATIONS AND ABUSES AND PROTECTING AND PROMOTING FREEDOM OF RELIGION OR BELIEF. WE HOSTED A SERIES OF CIVIL SOCIETY EVENTS IN COORDINATION WITH THE UK FREEDOM OF RELIGION OR BELIEF FORUM. THIS GROUP OF OVER 70 CIVIL SOCIETY GROUPS, FAITH OR BELIEF ORGANIZATIONS AND HUMAN RIGHTS NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS (NGOS) IS COMMITTED TO ADVANCING THE COMMON CAUSE OF FREEDOM OF RELIGION OR BELIEF WORLDWIDE.


THE LAUNCHING OF NEW IRF ROUNDTABLES GLOBALLY, PROVIDES A SAFESPACE WHERE NGOS, INDIVIDUALS, AND GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS FROM ALL FAITHS AND NONE WORK TOGETHER FOR FREEDOM OF RELIGION OR BELIEF IN THEIR RESPECTIVE COUNTRIES AND/OR REGIONS. HOSTED WITH QUARTERLY IN-PERSON GATHERINGS AND VIRTUALLY ON A WEEKLY BASIS. THE IRF ROUNDTABLE IS A SAFE SPACE WHERE MORE THAN 100 NGOS, INDIVIDUALS, AND GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS FROM ALL FAITHS AND NONE GATHER TOGETHER AND WORK FOR FREEDOM OF RELIGION OR BELIEF GLOBALLY. WE LAUNCH MULTI-FAITH INITIATIVES, AND ADVOCACY PROJECTS, AND HAVE WORKING GROUPS THAT ANY PARTICIPANT CAN BE INVOLVED WITH.
