SARMATIAN MUSEUM THE EXECUTIVE COMITEE OF THE INDO IRANIAN SOCIETY FOR TRADITIONAL ARTS, PARTALLY DUE TO THE ONGOING HUMANIATARIAN DISASTER IN UKRAINE, HAS DECIDED TO INITIATE AUNDRASER DRIVE TO ESTABLISH A MUSEUM OF SARMATIAN HISTORY AND CULTURE (MSHC) ON THE TERITORY OF POLAND. THE MSHS WILL SERVE AS A CULTURAL NEXUS BETWEEN POLISH AND UKRAINIAN POEPLE BY HIGHLIGHTING UNIQUE ASPECTS OF THE SHARED HISTORY AND EXEMPLARY PEACEFULL COEXISTANCE BETWEEN THESE TWO BROTHERLY NATIONS DURING THE POLISH - LITHUANIAN COMMONWEALTH PERIODD (1569-1795). HISTORICAL BACKGROUND DURING THE COMMONWEALTH PERIOD A UNIQUE SOCIAL STRUCTURE DEVELOPED CALLED GOLDEN LIBRTY IN WHICH ALL NOBLES REGARDLESS OF RANK, ECONOMIC STATUS OR THEIR BACKGROUND WERE CONSIDERED TO HAVE EQUAL LEGAL STATUSAND ENJOYED LEGAL RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES.
