Describe the Organization's Mission:
Part 3 - Line 1
THE MANTOOTH HOUSE IS A RECOVERY RESIDENCE FOR CHEMICALLY DEPENDENT ADULT WOMEN WHO HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED PRIMARY TREATMENT AND ARE IN EARLY, BUT ACTIVE RECOVERY. WE EXIST TO PROVIDE QUALITY RECOVERY HOUSING AND BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN TREATMENT AND HOME, ALLOWING OUR RESIDENTS THE TIME AND SUPPORT THEY NEED TO NAVIGATE THE CHALLENGES OF EARLY RECOVERY.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
SINCE SEPTEMBER 2019, WHEN WE HAD OUR FIRST RESIDENT UNTIL 12/31/2022, WE HAVE HAD THIRTY-NINE WOMEN RESIDENTS. TWENTY OF THE THIRTY NINE HAVE COMPLETED AND GRADUATED FROM OUR PROGRAM AND ARE CURRRENTLY PRODUCTIVE MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY. SIX RESIDENTS LEFT WITHIN A MONTH, THREE STAYED MORE THAN A MONTH BUT LEFT WITHOUT COMPLETING THE PROGRM, AND TWO RESIDENTS RELAPSED AND RETURNED TO THE HOUSE. CURRENTLY THE HOUSE IS FULL WITH EIGHT RESIDENTS AND ONE HOUSE MOTHER. IN 2022, THE HOUSE WAS QUARANTINED ONE TIME DUE TO COVID-19 OUTBREAK, HOWEVER NONE OF THE LADIES SUFFERED MAJOR HEALTH ISSUES OR EVEN NEEDED HOSPITALIZATION. THE LADIES PLANTED A SPRING GARDEN AND HARVESTED VEGETABLES THAT THEY USED IN THEIR DINNERS. THE BACK DECK AND SIDEWALKS WERE PRESSURE WASHED BY THE LADIES TO HELP KEEP THE RESIDENCE LOOKING GOOD.
