COLLABORATION/OUTREACH/TRAINING/COORDINATION TO ADDRESS HUMAN TRAFFICKING THIS PROGRAM IS DONE VIA THE TRI-COUNTY HUMAN TRAFFICKING TASK FORCE, THE TASK FORCE'S MISSION IS TO SUCCESSFULLY HOLD HUMAN TRAFFICKING PERPETRATORS ACCOUNTABLE, ROBUSTLY SUPPORT VICTIMS OF LABOR AND SEX TRAFFICKING, AND MEANINGFULLY APPLY PREVENTION TACTICS IN THE COMMUNITY. THE TASK FORCE HAS A SURVIVOR ADVISORY BOARD AND 9 SUBCOMMITTEES IN ORDER TO IMPLEMENT A COMPREHENSIVE, COORDINATED APPROACH TO PREVENT AND ADDRESS HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN THE SOUTH CAROLINA TRI-COUNTY AREA. THESE SUBCOMMITTEES INCLUDE PROFESSIONALS SUCH AS LAW ENFORCEMENT, LAWYERS, SOCIAL WORKERS, THERAPISTS, DOCTORS, FAITH-BASED GROUPS, TEACHERS, ETC.
