PRIMARY PURPOSE: ONE APIA NEVADA EXISTS TO ENGAGE IN DIRECT VOTER CONTACT FOR THE ASIAN PACIFIC ISLANDER AMERICAN (APIA) COMMUNITY TO INCREASE VOTER TURN OUT AND PROMOTE ISSUES OF IMPORTANCE TO THE APIA COMMUNITY. AS A NEW ENTITY THAT STARTED OPERATION IN MID-2018, ONE APIA NEVADA SPENT TIME HIRING AND TRAINING STAFF, AS WELL AS TRAINING VOLUNTEERS TO ENGAGE EFFECTIVELY IN THE LEGISLATIVE AND ELECTORAL PROCESS IN NEVADA.
