Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3
IN OUR FISCAL YEAR 2021 - 2022 OUR EMPHASIS WAS ON EDUCATION AND SUPPORT FOR THE ARTS. WE SERVED AGAIN AS AN ANCHOR POINT FOR THE ROUTE 3 ART TRAIL CONNECTING CONCORD WITH THE MAKING COMMUNITY NORTH OF THE CITY AND PROVIDED SPACE FOR ARTISTS IN EIGHT DIFFERENT DISCIPLINES TO DEMONSTRATE THEIR TECHNIQUES; WE ALSO TAUGHT TWO FREE CLASSES AT THE EVENT. COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN THIS EVENT DOUBLED FROM THE PRIOR SESSION IN 2020. OUR SPONSORED ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE WAS ABLE TO GROW HIS PORTFOLIO TO THE EXTENT THAT HE WAS SELECTED TO PARTICIPATE WEEKLY IN THE COMPETITIVE SOUTH OF WASHINGTON ARTS MARKET IN BOSTON, WHILE THE FIRST PARTICIPANT IN OUR BUSINESS INCUBATOR INCREASED HER BUSINESS TO THE EXTENT THAT SHE COULD MOVE OUT TO RETAIL SPACE NEARBY. OUR MAKERSPACE DEEPENED ITS EDUCATIONAL OFFERINGS WITH NEW PROJECT CLASSES IN ELECTRONICS, JEWELRY MAKING, AND PRINT MAKING. WE RESUMED ALLOWING LOCAL EDUCATIONAL GROUPS SUCH AS HOMESCHOOLERS AND AN ART CRITIQUE GROUP TO MEET IN OUR SPACE FOR COMPETITIONS AND PARTIES. FINALLY, WE LAUNCHED A LOWER COST COMMUNITY MEMBERSHIP ALLOWING EASY AND ECONOMIC ACCESS TO STATE-OF-THE-ART DUEL MONITOR WORK STATIONS AND VIDEO CONFERENCING, AS WELL AS USE OF OUR NEW PAINTING STUDIO, LARGE NEW PROJECT ASSEMBLY AREA, MEETING SPACE AND CLASSROOM.
