Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
WE WERE CLOSED FOR OUR FIRST QUARTER AND SPENT THE SECOND REFURBISHING OUR NEW PREMISES. THE NEW SPACE MUCH BETTER ACCOMMODATES OUR PUBLIC-ACCESS INDUSTRY-GRADE MACHINES AND ALLOWS FOR PRODUCTION THAT IS BOTH FASTER AND SUPERIOR IN RESULTS FOR THE SMALL BUSINESSES AND HOBBYISTS THAT USE THE MAKERSPACE. ALL SHOPS WERE REOPENED IN MAY. WE ALSO SET UP A CNC ROUTER WHICH WILL FOSTER WORKFORCE TRAINING IN FUTURE YEARS AS WELL AS HELP LOCAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP. THREE NEW CLASSES WERE PLANNED DURING THIS FISCAL YEAR THAT HAVE SINCE BEEN HELD, WITH ONE RUNNING SEVERAL TIMES. WE ALSO PARTICIPATED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN COMMUNITY PROGRAMMING FOR A NEIGHBORING MAKERSPACE, ASSISTING THEM WITH PUBLIC AWARENESS AND ATTEMPTS TO OBTAIN A LOCATION ON A VETERAN'S CAMPUS. WE WERE PROUD TO CLOSE OUT OUR FISCAL YEAR BY WORKING TO EXPAND THE LOCAL ART TRAIL WE HELPED ESTABLISH IN 2020 SO THAT IT INCLUDED A NEW COMMUNITY CENTER AND TWO ADDITIONAL ARTISTS IN AN UNDERSERVED AREA ENTIRELY NEW TO OUR OUTREACH.
