NATIONAL COALITION FOR INFANT HEALTH (NCFIH) IS A COLLABORATIVE OF PROFESSIONAL, CLINICAL, COMMUNITY HEALTH, AND FAMILY SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS FOCUSED ON IMPROVING THE LIVES OF PREMATURE INFANTS AND THEIR FAMILIES. NCFIH'S MISSION IS TO PROMOTE LIFELONG CLINICAL, HEALTH, EDUCATION, AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES NEEDED BY PREMATURE INFANTS AND THEIR FAMILIES.

NCFIH PRODUCES EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND RESOURCES SUCH AS VIDEOS, POLICY BRIEFS, WHITE PAPERS, FAST FACTS, AND INFOGRAPHICS DESIGNED TO INFORM STAKEHOLDERS ABOUT THE ACCESS AND SAFETY ISSUES FACING PREMATURE INFANTS THROUGH AGE TWO AND THEIR FAMILIES.


NCFIH ENGAGES IN EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY INITIATIVES IN ORDER TO PROMOTE INFORMED POLICYMAKING REGARDING ACCESS TO OPTIMAL CARE FOR INFANTS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THESE ADVOCACY INITIATIVES INCLUDE COMMENTING ON PROPOSED POLICIES, LEGISLATION AND REGULATIONS, AND TESTIFYING AT LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE OR REGULATORY HEARINGS.


NCFIH PRODUCES EVENTS INCLUDING SUMMITS, ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSIONS, BRIEFINGS, STEERING COMMITTEE MEETINGS AND WEBINARS TO CONVENE STAKEHOLDERS TO DISCUSS AND ELEVATE IMPORTANT ISSUES FACING PREMATURE INFANTS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
