THE MISSION OF THE WINCHESTER SCHOOL OF CHINESE CULTURE IS TO TEACH THE LANGUAGE AND TRADITIONAL CULTURE OF CHINA THROUGH CLASSROOM INSTRUCTIONS , THE ARTS, AND CULTURAL EVENTS AND TO PROMOTE AND ENGAGE IN CULTURAL EXCHANGES AND CIVIC ACTIVITIES TO DEVELOP AND SUSTAIN COMMUNITY-SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS.

CHINESE LANGUAGE AND CULTURAL WEEKEND PROGRAM: THE COMPANY PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY AND ENVIRONMENT TO LEARN CHINESE LANGUAGE AND CHINESE CULTURE FOR PEOPLE FROM THE COMMUNITIES AND SURROUNDING AREA. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES CLASSES FROM PRESCHOOL TO ADULT. IN 2021, THE PROGRAM OFFERED IN-PERSON CLASSES FROM SEPTEMBER TO THE END OF YEAR AND APPROXIMATELY 32 COURSES ON-LINE INCLUDING CHINESE PRE-KINDERGARTEN, KINDERGARTEN, G1 TO G10, BILINGUAL CHINESE, ART, CHESS, MATHEMATICS, LEGO, AND SINGING CLASSES FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR. THE PROGRAM SERVED 520 STUDENTS IN ALL ITS CHINESE LANGUAGE AND CULTURAL PROGRAMS IN 2021.
AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS AND CHINESE TUTORING: THE COMPANY PROVIDES AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS IN BELMONT AND NEWTON LOCATIONS SEPARATED. DUE TO THE PANDEMIC PERIOD, THE PROGRAM HAD ONLINE CHINESE TUTORING CLASSES FROM JANUARY TO JUNE. SINCE THE PANDEMIC SITUATION WAS IMPROVED IN FALL 2021, THE SCHOOL OPENED ITS IN-PERSON AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM FROM SEPTEMBER TILL THE END OF YEAR IN 2021. THE IN-PERSON AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS PROVIDE SUPERVISION, CARE, AND ACTIVITIES FOR SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN AFTER THE REGULAR SCHOOL DAY, WITH TUTORING SERVICES IN CHINESE AND MATHEMATICS AS NEEDED. IN 2021, THE PROGRAM SERVED 52 STUDENTS AT ITS BELMONT FACILITY AND 40 STUDENTS AT ITS NEWTON FACILITY.
