THE CONFERENCE OF COUNTY COURT JUDGES OF FLORIDA, INC. WAS CREATED UNDER THE FLORIDA RULES OF JUDICIAL ADMINISTRATION RULE 2.220(A). ITS PRIMARY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 1.) THE BETTERMENT OF THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM OF THE STATE AND THE IMPROVEMENT OF PROCEDURE AND PRACTICE IN THE SEVERAL COURTS BY ACQUIRING AND DISSEMINATING INFORMATION TO ALL COUNTY COURT JUDGES FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THEIR COURTS, PRACTICES AND PROCEDURE. THE ACTIVITY FURTHERS THE CONFERENCE'S EXEMPT PURPOSE BY CARRYING OUT THE OBJECTIVE OF THE JUDICIAL ADMINISTRATION RULE 2.220(A). THIS ACTIVITY HAS, IS AND WILL BE CONDUCTED BY ITS CONTRACTED EXECUTIVE SECRETARY, ELECTED VOLUNTEER EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND ITS MEMBERS ONLY IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA. 1/3RD OF THE CONFERENCE'S TIME IS DEDICATED TO CARRYING OUT THIS ACTIVITY. 2.) TO DEVELOP PROGRAMS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA AND TO STUDY/IMPROVE LEGISLATION IN THE FIELD OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA.
TO ACQUIRE AND DISSEMINATE INFORMATION TO ALL COUNTY COURT JUDGES FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THEIR COURTS, PRACTICE AND PROCEDURE; AND PROVIDE A UNIFIED VOICE FOR THE COUNTY COURT JUDGES OF FLORIDA IN THEIR DEALINGS WITH THE LEGISLATURE, EXECUTIVE BRANCH, SUPREME COURT, STATE AGENCIES AND THE CITIZENRY OF FLORIDA.
