DURING 2023, VVHC WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE TO IMPROVE AND OPERATE OUR TRANSITION CENTER EMERGENCY SHELTER 7 DAYS A WEEK, WHILE CONTINUING CONSTRUCTION ON A SEPARATE TRANSITIONAL HOUSING COMPLEX. LOCAL AND FOUNDATION GRANTS WERE ALSO OBTAINED IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO PROVIDE OPERATING FUNDS FOR THE SHELTER PROGRAM, SUPPLEMENTED BY GENEROUS PUBLIC DONATIONS.
