IN 2021 WE RECEIVED RECOGNITION FROM TWO WELL-KNOWN GLOBAL SPORT ORGANIZATIONSTHE INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIC COMMITTEE (IOC) AND WORLD RUGBY. THE IOC ALONG WITH PANASONIC FEATURED GIRLS RUGBY AND OUR COO IN A VIDEO ABOUT THE IOC YOUNG LEADERS PROGRAM WHILE WORLD RUGBY FEATURED A GIRLS RUGBY PLAYER FROM COLORADO IN THEIR YOUTH UNSTOPPABLES CAMPAIGN. GIRLS RUGBY OFFERED PROGRAMMING IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN 2021, INCREASING OUR PROGRAMMING FROM 5 STATES TO 8 STATES AND 1 CANADIAN PROVINCE: CALIFORNIA - SAN DIEGO CANADA - MANITOBA - WINIPEG COLORADO - GREATER DENVER AREA ILLINOIS - CHICAGO NORTH CAROLINA - WILMINGTON OHIO CINCINNATI AND COLUMBUS OREGON/SW WASHINGTON - GREATER PORTLAND AND GREATER ALBANY PENNSYLVANIA HARRISBURG AND HERSHEY WASHINGTON - OLYMPIAGIRLS RUGBY BY THE NUMBERS IN 2021: 614 REGISTRATIONS, A 78% GROWTH OVER OUR PREVIOUS YEAR OF PROGRAMMING (2019) $4,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED TO FAMILIES WITH FINANCIAL NEED 10,844 ACTIVITY HOURS WHERE GIRLS WERE ACTIVELY PARTICIPATING IN OUR PROGRAMSGIRLS RUGBY PLAYER SURVEY RESULTS: 96% OF PLAYERS SURVEYED RATED THEIR COACHES WITH AN "I LOVED THEM!" 83% OF PLAYERS SURVEYED SAID THAT PLAYING GIRLS RUGBY HELPED THEM TO BE A BETTER TEAM PLAYER AND MAKE NEW FRIENDS 74% OF PLAYERS SURVEYED SAID THAT PLAYING GIRLS RUGBY INCREASED THEIR CONFIDENCE 90% OF PLAYERS SURVEYED RATED THE RUGBY SEASON POSITIVELY WITH A RESPONSE OF "I LOVED IT!"GIRLS RUGBY PARENT SURVEY RESULTS: 94% OF PARENTS/GUARDIANS SURVEYED RATED THE SEASON POSITIVELY WITH A RESPONSE OF "WE LOVED IT!" 88% OF PARENTS/GUARDIANS SURVEYED SAID THAT PLAYING GIRLS RUGBY MADE THEIR CHILD/CHILDREN MORE CONFIDENT 86% OF PARENTS/GUARDIANS SURVEYED SAID THAT PLAYING GIRLS RUGBY HELPED MAKE THEIR CHILD A BETTER TEAM PLAYER 95% OF PARENTS/GUARDIANS SURVEYED RATED GIRLS RUGBY COACHES/VOLUNTERS POSITIVELY WITH A RESPONSE OF "WE LOVED THEM!"GIRLS RUGBY COACH SURVEY RESULTS: 130 REGISTERED COACHES 95% OF COACHES SURVEYED REPORTED THEY LOVED THE GIRLS RUGBY SEASON AND FELT PREPARED FOR THEIR ROLE 98% OF COACHES SURVEYED REPORTED THAT THEY FELT LIKE THEY MADE A POSITIVE IMPACT ON THE LIVES OF THE ATHLETES IN THEIR PROGRAM 100% OF COACHES SURVEYED SAID THEY FELT SUPPORTED THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE SEASON
