TOTAL REGISTRATIONS WAS 667 FOR 2023, 59% OF WHICH WERE RETURNING PLAYERS.WE DELIVERED OVER 10,500 ACTIVITY HOURS, PROVIDED OVER $5,694 IN SCHOLARSHIPS, AND ENGAGED 159 STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS (72% OF WHICH IDENTIFY AS FEMALE). PLAYER SURVEYS REPORTED: 85% HAD FUN AND MADE NEW FRIENDS 93% REPORTED INCREASES IN TEAM LEADERSHIP 95% LOVED THEIR COACHESFAMILY SURVEYS REPORTED: 89% OF PARENTS/GUARDIANS SURVEYED LOVED THE SEASON 75% REPORTED INCREASES IN CONFIDENCE IN THEIR CHILDREN 75% SAID THEIR CHILDREN SHOWED INCREASED LEADERSHIP 72% PLAN TO RETURN FOR THE NEXT SEASONOF THE 141 VOLUNTEERS... 93% LOVED THEIR EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH GIRLS RUGBY 94% FELT THEY MADE AN IMPACT 95% FELT PREPARED FOR THEIR ROLES 93% FELT CONFIDENCE IN THEIR ROLESMAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS FROM 2023: GIRLS RUGBY CELEBRATED THEIR FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSARY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR WITH A SOCIAL MEDIA AND FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN THAT LOOKED BACK ON THE SUCCESS OF THE LAST FIVE YEARS AND FUNDRAISED IN THE COMMUNITY FOR FUTURE SUCCESS. GIRLS RUGBY PARTNERED WITH THE WOMEN'S PREMIER LEAGUE AND ACTIVATED AT THE WPL FINAL MATCH IN DENVER, CO. PARTICIPANTS FROM THE GIRLS RUGBY COLORADO PROGRAM PARTICIPATED IN THE EVENT AS BALL RUNNERS AND PERFORMING AT HALFTIME, CONNECTING THE PATHWAY OF WOMEN'S RUGBY IN THE US. GIRLS RUGBY LAUNCHED A CAMPAIGN TO EXPAND THEIR BOARD OF DIRECTORS AT THE END OF 2023 WITH THE INTENTION TO PROFESSIONALIZE THE ORGANIZATION FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS AND BEYOND.
