BUILT KEY TECHNICAL PARTNERSHIPS:PARTNERED WITH THE WILDLIFE CONSERVATION SOCIETY'S LAO PROGRAM FOR SAOLA SEARCH ACTIVITIES IN BOLIKHAMXAI PROVINCE, LAO PDR. BEGAN PREPARATIONS TO DEVELOP A SAOLA DETECTION DOG TEAM IN LAO PDR, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH WORKING DOGS FOR CONSERVATION (WD4C). DEVELOPED A RAPID IN-SITU DNA TEST KIT FOR SAOLA DUNG, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE WILDLIFE CONSERVATION SOCIETY'S MOLECULAR LABORATORY IN NEW YORK.
GREW OUR TEAM: WE WELCOMED NEW MEMBERS TO OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS, ADVISORY COUNCIL, STAFF AND VOLUNTEER TEAM. GREW OUR DONOR BASE: WE GREW OUR DONOR BASE, WITH RECRUITMENT OF MULTIPLE NEW DONORS AND MANY WHO CONTINUED TO SUPPORT US FOR A SECOND YEAR. DEVELOPED MAJOR NEW SUPPORT FROM TWO FUNDING SOURCES TOTALLING $297,000 OVER MULTIPLE YEARS.
