WE COLLABORATE WITH DIVERSE PARTNERS TO DRIVE SUSTAINABLE OUTDOOR RECREATION INITIATIVES IN NORTH CENTRAL WASHINGTON. WE STRIVE TO DEVELOP RECREATION-BASED ECONOMIES AS PART OF A STRONG AND DIVERSE ECONOMIC MIX THAT SUPPORTS THIS REGION.

IN 2023 TREAD HAS BEEN INVOLVED WITH AND HAS MANAGED A VARIETY OF PROGRAM SERVICES RELATED TO THEIR MISSION. WE ARE INVOLVED IN GRANT MANAGEMENT, WHERE WE FACILIATATE VARIOUS PROJECTS IN THE REGION. WE HAVE BEEN WORKING DIRECTLY WITH THE STATE OF WASHINGTON TOURISM ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF A MOBILE APP TO HELP OUTDOOR REC LAND MANAGERS AND USERS THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF WASHINGTON. TREAD HAS ALSO BEEN INVOLVED WITH SMALLER PROGRAM SERVICE WORK, SUCH AS HELPING THE FOREST SERVICE WITH MANAGEMENT AND BUILDING OF LOCAL TRAILS AND CABINS. TREAD HAS BEGIN WORKING ON SOME LARGE LONG-TERM PROJECTS IN 2023, INCLUDING THE CHELAN DOUGLAS TRANSPORTATION COUNCIL PATHWAYS MASTER PLAN, UPPER WENACTHEE VALLEY SUSTAINABLE TRAILS PROJECTS, AND A COMPREHENSIVE DOUGLAS COUNTY OUTDOOR RECREATION PLAN.
