THE OBJECTIVE OF KAUFMAN COUNTY JUNIOR LIVESTOCK SHOW, INC. IS TO PROMOTE THE INTEREST AND WELFARE OF THE AGRICULTURAL YOUTH IN KAUFMAN COUNTY.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE KAUFMAN COUNTY JUNIOR LIVESTOCK SHOW (KCJLS) WAS HELD FEBRUARY 27 - MARCH 2, 2019 AND PROVIDED A VENUE FOR 200 LOCAL YOUTH TO EXHIBIT THEIR LIVESTOCK AND OF THOSE, 150 YOUTH WERE ABLE TO AUCTION OFF THEIR ANIMALS. THE ORGANIZATION HELD A BBQ COOKOFF IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE LIVESTOCK SHOW AND THE PROCEEDS PROVIDED FUNDS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS.TWO SCHOLARSHIPS OF $2,500 EACH WERE AWARDED TO LOCAL YOUTH.THE KAUFMAN KLASSIC SERIES OF SHOWS WERE HELD JAN 5, APR 6, JUN1, & AUG 3, 2019 FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE KAUFMAN FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA. A TOTAL OF 250 LOCAL YOUTH PARTICIPATED IN THESE EVENTS. THE PROCEEDS PROVIDED FUNDS FOR THE JUNIOR LIVESTOCK SHOW.THE KCJLS HELD A HOLIDAY CLASSIC ON DECEMBER 7, 2019 PROVIDING A VENUE FOR LOCAL YOUTH TO EXHIBIT THEIR LIVESTOCK. THE PROCEEDS PROVIDED FUNDS FOR THE JUNIOR LIVESTOCK SHOW.
