Part 3 - Line 4a
THE ORGANIZATION PLANS ON MEDICAL PERSONNEL EDUCATION, FUNDRAISING AND REQUESTING GRANTS FOR RESEARCH IN STROKE TREATMENT. THE SREF WILL ORGANIZE A TWO-DAY ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM TO EDUCATE EMS, NURSES, NURSE PRACTITIONERS, PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS, AND PHYSICIANS ON COMPREHENSIVE STROKE TREATMENT AND PREVENTION. THE SREF WILL HOLD AN ANNUAL RED BALL FOR STROKE AWARENESS FUNDRAISER WITH THE PROCEEDS USED TO INCREASE STROKE AWARENESS VIA A MARKETING CAMPAIGN. THE SREF WILL ALSO SUBMIT GRANTS FOR RESEARCH IN STROKE TREATMENT AND STROKE PREVENTION.
