TO PROVIDE QUALITY EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION TO ALL CHILDREN AT THE LEVEL OF DEVELOPMENT THEY ARE IN. OUR PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE INCLUSIVE CHILDCARE FOR CHILDREN THAT ARE OF TYPICAL AND ATYPICAL DEVELOPMENT. WE WANT TO PREPARE CHILDREN FOR KINDERGARTEN. TO MAXIMIZE THESE EFFORTS WE SEEK COLLABORATION WITH OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS.

FUTURE LEADERS OF EXCELLENCE ACADEMY (FLOE ACADEMY) BEGAN THE YEAR OF 2021 SERVING 28 FAMILIES THAT HAD 33 CHILDREN BETWEEN THEM. WE HAVE HAD A FEW EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES FOR OUR FAMILIES SINCE JANUARY 2021. FLOE ACADEMY RECEIVED THE HIGHEST STATUS (3 STARS) THAT A DAYCARE CAN RECEIVE ON APRIL 1, 2021. WE PUT ON AN EASTER EGG HUNT FOR OUR CHILDREN ON APRIL 1,2021. THE WEEK OF APRIL 12-16, 2021 WE HAD SPIRIT WEEK. THE TEACHERS AND THE CHILDREN DRESSED UP EVERYDAY FOR SPIRIT WEEK. ON APRIL 16, 2021 WE HAD OUR FAMILY APPRECIATION DAY AT THE CENTER. THE PARENTS WERE ALLOWED TO COME IN AND HAVE A SNACK WITH THEIR CHILDREN. WE CATERED THE MEAL OURSELVES HAVING A TACO BAR. ON APRIL 17, 2021 FLOE ACADEMY HAD A YARD SALE AND FISH FRY FUNDRAISER. ON MAY 21, 2021 WE HAD A GRADUATION FOR OUR CHILDREN THAT WERE GOING TO KINDERGARTEN. ON OCTOBER 28, 2021 WE HAD A TRUNK OR TREAT FOR THE CHILDREN AT THE CENTER. ON NOVEMBER 16, 2021 WE HAD A THANKSGIVING LUNCH FOR THE CHILDREN AND STAFF OF THE CENTER. BY THE END OF DECEMBER 2021 WE WERE SERVING 21 FAMILIES THAT HAD 25 CHILDREN BETWEEN THEM. THE AFTERMATH OF COVID-19 CONTINUED TO PUT SOME STRAIN ON OUR BUSINESS IN THE YEAR 2021. THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE APPLYING FOR JOBS HAS BEEN AT AN ALL TIME LOW FOR THE CENTER. WE ARE HOPING TO REBUILD WITH MOMENTUM AS 2022 CONTINUES.
FUTURE LEADERS OF EXCELLENCE ACADEMY (FLOE ACADEMY) BEGAN THE YEAR OF 2019 SERVING 27 FAMILIES THAT HAD 28 CHILDREN BETWEEN THEM. WE RECEIVED THE HIGHEST STATUS (3 STARS) THAT A DAY-CARE CAN RECEIVE ON MARCH 26, 2019. THERE WERE MULTIPLE ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, FROM SPIRIT WEEK AND FAMILY APPREICATION DAY IN APRIL, FALL FESTIVAL IN OCTOBER, TO CHRISTMAS CAROLING IN DECEMBER (TO HIGHLIGHT A FEW). NOVEMBER 21-23, 2019 EIGHT TEACHERS WERE SENT TO THE NAEYC CONFERENCE FOR THREE DAYS OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. THIS WAS MADE POSSIBLE BY OUR JUNE YARD SALE AND FISH FRY. BY THE END OF DECEMBER 2019 WE WERE SERVING 37 FAMILIES THAT HAD 41 CHILDREN BETWEEN THEM.
